Getting Started
Here's how it works:
1) Read our Terms & Conditions.
2) Sign-up here.
3) If you'd like receive a domain name idea at this stage, email us and let us know about your business in up to 200 words.
4) Register the domain you wish to use with a web host that allows you to change the name server settings. We recommend www.ukreg.com. Multiple domains can be handled by a single account. Avoid signing up for a hosting package as this will cause unnecessary expense.
5) Here's the technical bit: Point the first and second name servers of the domains you wish to use to ns1.swerveconcepts.com and ns2.swerveconcepts.com respectively. In the UKReg control panel this can be found by visiting the 'Configure Your Domains' page, clicking on the domain, clicking on 'nameservers' under the heading 'Domain Registration Settings' and changing the first nameserver to ns1.swerveconcepts.com and the second nameserver to ns2.swerveconcepts.com. Then click the confirmation button 'change nameservers' and on the next page 'Finish'. Send us an email to let us know you've done this.
6) A bare-bones Show You Know site will appear at your domain ready to be fleshed out. A name server change can be immediate or take up to 72 hours. Occasionally, it can take longer.
7) Download and read our online user manual to begin modifying your site.
